Sweet RA-pal, Kevin-pal, Dirt-pal... thank you for the well-wishes. I am a bit under the weather today so gonna take it slooow and postpone the festivity till later this week. The wife and kids are attending a birthday party later in the afternoon, I might drop them off and then do like a 2-hour easy ride around that neighborhood.

I am thankful for this day that the Lord has made and how He spared the major population centers from the wrath of Hurricane Rita.

Kevan-pal...you are right...I am still a punk. I kinda like that and would like to keep it that way for as long as possible. ;)

Spidy-pal...thanks for your note. I did get out and ride for an hour or so late afternoon starting from the house ...it was windy as in the Rita effect but it was fun fun fun as I get to ride my favorite steel bike which is built up with the **FREE** parts sent to me by my sweet serotta pals....

Flite Saddle - from Spiderman
Campy 8 brifters - from Bill Bove
130 mm quill stem - from 93LegendTi
Italian lugged steel frame - from Frank
Special cable routing technique (cleaner lines, no contact with headtube) - suggested by Dave (http://forums.thepaceline.net/showpost.php?p=105858&postcount=2)

Thanks for the compliment, Spidy and legend-pal.

Oh oh...I forgot to mention without a doubt the most important gift I have received on my birthday...the wife broke the news to me yesterday: we are expecting our fourth child. :D

And to add to this already silly bunch...

(We went out and bought each of them their own umbrellas...and guess what, it rained soon after...the perfect excuse for them to play outside the driveway in the rain...)

I am havin' way too much fun for someone who's ONLY --T-H-I-R-T-Y--F-I-V-E--!!
