I'm thinking of going to prowheelbuilder.com for a custom order. Anyone with experience with them/other recommendations?

Lesse, I'm sure I'm forgetting a few but we have EchelonJohn, Ergott, Old Potatoe here that are all excellent wheelbuilders. Try one of them

Drop the "pro" from the front and you have arguably the best in the biz...

Rich and wheelbuilder.com are fantastic

All good builders listed above but also Justin Spinelli at Luxe Wheelworks.

ANY one of these guys will build you an excellent wheel set.

Almost too many options to choose from.

For me, with big ticket items, as long as there is not a significant cost penalty, then it's as much about supporting folks from my community whether on-line such as here or "across the hall" or my LBS.

Small premiums are worth it to me for quality, reliability, reputation, and supporting good folks.

It's the price point that has me interested.

I'm just dead tempted by a set of White Industries Campy H3 to Hed clincher C2s for 660 shipped.

I've bought wheels from Wheelbuilder.com, and everything about the product and experience was top notch. :)
