I called a bunch of shops to get these plates that I'm supposed to use with my time pedals but non had them in stock. One shop said I didn't really need them. So i'm wondering what you guys do. Do you run your Sidis with or without that plate?

thanks!

do you have the shoes, and can you see where the pedals start wearing into the soles?

they make the plates for a reason. I've used time and crank bros. pedals before and the bars leave an impression, to begin with, on the soles, but then eventually start wearing deep grooves. These marks do not damage, per see, but they do change the connection with the cleat.

I am always a fan of new technology, when you obviously see the cause.

Sidi shoes, they should (will) throw a pair into my pine box, when i go to hang with Fausto/Gino
