Another ten pounds and he'll be able to keep up with Froome on the climbs! Hope he's skipping dessert this week.

Ethiopian marathon runner thin
But it seems to work for him
Big engine low weight who can argue with his results
He gets a rest day Tuesday to recharge his batteries a bit
Cheers :). IMHO

Several wins in the I.P. at the Worlds plus a Madison win there with Cav, and many other top
podiums at events on the track where one can't hide. I'd say we should all eat that well atmo.

ps

arrange disorder

The photos are taken to accentuate the extreme. Extremely fit athletes look extreeme and if he were unhealthy someone would make a fortune showing him how to eat!! Wake up people!!!

I'd say we should all eat that well

2% body fat (or whatever he is) is not healthy, regardless of his podium position.

All that means is that as with the NFL and linemen, cycling often rewards freaks. Intense specialization tends to do that.

The camera adds 15 pounds, effectively doubling the weight of Wiggins' lower body.

Few in the sport have bigger engines than the individual pursuit cats.
They need to be fed. Wiggins has the gift atmo. I'd wager he could eat
me under the table.

Pal of mine, ultra fast racer, is easily that skinny and i swear eats like a friggin horse. Never seen anything like it. So yeah, its freakish, but not out of ordinary.

Levi L. said he consumes 6,000 calories per day while on the tour.

Wiggins - 9,000 according to this link -

it's concerning when you see the body of an extreme athlete, knowing that they may someday, unfortunately, have extreme bone-loss and other issues.

most of the time cyclists and other endurance athletes live better, longer, but this picture sort of scares me too!

yes, they must have strict, healthy diets, but still........

I've known many people who were very slim and could eat anything and not gain an ounce. It's not that unusual.

Most Americans have an eating disorder, judging from what I see waddling around.

OK, so both ends of the spectrum are bad. That doesn't make Wiggins (or Rasmussen) OK.

They're athletes. I don't think we should worry about their health.

That language and tone is beneath this forum. It's sad that this seems to be more and more common here.

the "retard" thing is lame. people honestly think they sound cool when they say/write it. i'm not a pc guy at all, i swear like a sailor, but "retard" gets under my skin for some reason. it's something a dopey would 23 year say.
