Not to diminish the extensive forum doping discussions any, but the effort from Thomas and Jens was pretty fabulous. What a great finish, the classic set of battles and efforts striving for the various jerseys, classic Tour action, yea.

Jens is my favorite rider and I was pulling for him, sorry he didn't get it. Voeckler, what can you say, he delivers.

I agree - I was rooting for Jens.

I was rooting for Jens. His suitcase of pain is larger, deeper and fuller than any other rider's.

I have been a fan of Tommy V since the 2004 Tour. Glad to see him a win.

Pretty interesting tour thus far.

radioshack with 1 win, sky with 3 wins, liquigas with 2 wins, lotto with 2 wins, and 2 french teams with a win each, from french riders...

good for the french. maybe they'll get a tour de france champion next year, 100th running of the TDF.... or maybe not.

I thought Sagan (Liquigas) has 3 wins - Chicken Dance, Forest Gump and The Hulk?

Yah, loved seeing that battle at the end. I thought Voekler was done for, but damn, did he kick.

Voekler knows how to suffer as much as any rider. Chapeau!

I think we are in a time without great tour riders and great climbers. But still I love the tour and have enjoyed watching every day.

I was glad to see Nibali and Van Den Broeck put some pressure on even if it did not work. Evans attack to get 2 seconds at the end was kind of pathetic.

I want to see the other teams keep attacking Sky. When Sky pulls someone back another team should attack. I don't want to see teams like Radio Shack chasing down VDB to protect sixth place. Make something happen - don't keep things from happening.

I love jens as a rider when a forty year old non climber almost wins a mountain stage it is great drama ... great performance jens
With all the older riders maybe the grey jersey is in order
Cheers

Dude, if I were the CEO of viagra, just for men, cialis, centrum silver, hair club for men, sears and roebuck, etc. whatever... I'd totally sponsor that jersey! Best placed rider over 37?

all jokes aside a jersey for the best placed ride over " insert age here" would be cool

The only joke was sears and roebuck. I think it would be a perfectly consistent marketing campaign to sponsor such a jersey for any of those other brands.

A grey jersey! I'm sure the fashionistas in Paris could develop a terrific grey color for it. Best Young Rider already, why not best ' cycliste ancienne' ? Cool.
