There is a malware out there called the DNS changer. I won't go in to details, it's been around since 2007, but your computer could be infected and you are not aware. On Monday the servers which allow computers infected with this malware to still surf the web are being shut down....so if you have it you won't have internet access come July 9, 2012.
It only takes a second to check out your computer and you don't have to download anything.....just go to this page http://www.dcwg.org/detect/ and click on the appropriate link in the table.
This is not a hoax. If you have any doubts google DNS changer malware.

The FBI's temporary Internet servers will go dark Monday, leaving thousands of unsuspecting malware-infected individuals without online access.
What temporary Internet servers, you ask? They might have been connecting you to Facebook, YouTube, and -- ahem! -- ABCNews.com for the last month, and you didn't even know it. Really.
Why is this happening? It all has to do with a piece of computer malware called DNS Changer.
