Yikes, glad you're alive!

Did he notice? Some accidents w/ 18 wheelers (even with cars) become fatal because the driver doesn't even notice that he's hit you.

The broken ribs are the worst to me. I broke three in a bike related accident three months ago.

Sounds like you've got a fairly long recovery road so hang in there.

At least you won't have to worry about the bicycle and I hope you don't have too many related out of pocket expenses related to care.

Wow-ow!!, glad to hear you aren't hurt worse. Though broken ribs really suck. And all your really good friends will now be trying to get you to laugh...nothing hurts like clutching your rib cage... while trying not to laugh....and, cursing your friends at the same time!:p
