Just Picked up a Serotta Atlanta local last wk , size 53, the ride was incredible ,I never rode Ultegra before. As a matter of fact have not ridden a road bike since Woodstock. been riding MTB 's since the beginning.I Let my son try it & he fell in love ,so I gave it to him ,NOW need another for myself ,so we can ride together.

Hi,

Welcome to the forum, and welcome back to the road. :bike:

That's neat that your son likes the Atlanta. Good luck finding a replacement.

If you're patient you'll surely find something nice right here.

Welcome back!

the Classifieds are your friend!

There always seems to be a nice 53 or so bike posted in there!

Good luck

Great first post, it's all downhill from here.

You won't have to confine your search to Atlantas. If your Atlanta is a stock size, many other Serotta models have been built with pretty much (some exactly) the same geometry, and you can hardly go wrong with any of them if they fit. The catalog and gallery sections are your friend, and there are lots of informed folks here willing to help out with any questions you might have.

I had not ridden a quality road bike since riding a new 1961 Frejus track bike on a new banked track in flushing NY.,& rode a nice Bianchi in the early 70's

I'd like to know the story behind your moniker. Might it be a motorsports reference?
