Brake chatter with Rolf Vigors

The recent thread on brake pads got me thinking about the problem I've been experiencing with brake chatter (viabration) with my new-to-me Rolf Vigor wheels. I replaced the stock D/A black pads with Kool Stop Salmons, but they didn't completely cure the chatter. Anyone have a recomendation?

If youhad no chatter before switching wheels I would make sure that the braking surface of the rims are straight and clean.

I'd check the braking surface on the rim. A dust off with a scotchbrite pad might be worthwhile.
