Vintage Night at the LBS

One of the local shops hosted a very cool Vintage Bike Show about 2 weeks ago. Classic road racing bikes were on display, with names that roll off your tongue like fine wine. (to quote the hosts) Enjoy some random shots. There were about 20 bikes on display, and plenty of admirers.

^ there was a cool Chino slide show playing. Some guy riding a Bruce Gordon and wearing a Galibier jersey was in it too. :)

I wish my 2 LBS put on nights like this. I also thought it would be fun to have a vintage time trial instead of guys showing up with $9000 bikes and averaging 27mph. Lets see what they can do on cast iron bikes from the days gone by.

Seems like there are some with "real live mileage" dirt on them ... Maybe I have spent too much time on Cycles EXIF ...
