Anyone use both:

Gran Bois Cerf Green Labels (the wider 29mm version) AND

Rivendell Ruffy Tuffy or Schwalbe Utremo ZX 28mms

How do the GBs compare to the Ruffy Tuffys or Ultremos in terms of width?

I'd like to try the Gran Bois Cerf Greens, and have just enough clearance for the Ruffy Tuffys and Schwalbe Ultremos which I currently use. If the GBs are any wider at all, they'll be too big.

(I tried the narrower GB Blues, but they are skinnier than I'd like)

Thanks

not sure on sizes, but I know Jan doesn't care for the Rivendel tires and not a huge fan of Schwalbes either...

In my experience the GB Cerf green are the same width as RT's on the same rim. I am currently running the Cerfs on my Kirk. They measure 28 wide on Open Pros, 29 on A 23's. I previously had Ruffy Tuffys and they measured the same. I also think the Cerfs and RTs ride about the same, both pretty supple. But the Cerfs are lighter (and maybe more fragile) and spin up faster. When they wear out I'll probably go back to RTs.
