A group I ride with including Pete Penseyres rode to the start that Wednesday. Unfortunately I couldn't go. RAAM went thru Ramona and another cyclist I ride with owns a bike shop there and he was so happy because tubes, tires, bottles and a bunch of other supplies were selling like hot cakes....Ca Ching!

Unfortunately, they got a 15 minute time pemalty for one of their riders riding backwards on the course.:no:

Overall, things sound positive in their blog/Facebook posts.
