I have a 2012 Niner EMD 9 - Large: that recommends a High Clamp / Top Pull front derailleur. With the variety of bikes out there now and the desire to make less products by manufactures there are very few (if any) options. Most available are dual pull with puts the cable at a very weird angle, it works but looks silly and I'd just much rather have a top pull specific.
Sram offers a 2x10 Low Clamp / Top Pull specific but Niner says I might run into some cable rub issues... I never got a Yes or No answer from them so I am wondering if anyone else has tired this?
I think I can still run a 2.2 tire and clear it, just wanted to know if this has been done already before I start looking for parts. Plan on borrowing and testing before I buy any new stuff.
