Hey Ashley, you know Dario won the race, not you, right? Anyone else tired of seeing her in the pits or at UofK stands. It's not all about you.

I think she is a proud wife as she should be. We should all be so blessed.

Sounds like a complaint from someone jealous. They are a couple, a family, what one does is important to the other. She seems genuinely happy as she should be. I don't see the problem. My impression of her over the years is she courts publicity less than most in her business. You want her to act like she don't care just so you won't be bothered by it? Sounds like a personal problem to me.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I can look at her all day

IRL is basically done as series IMHO. anything they can latch on to is good at this point

Ashley Judd is the Hottest Judd but she looked much better when she was younger, her mother is the best looking Judd of all.

I wish Ashley was a Terp fan though

I actually thought the new cars and engines produced one of the better 500's in years.

More engine choices next year should make for even more fun.

Not sure if I want to see the new aero packages or have them stick with the spec cars......

As for Ashley Judd, I don't see the issue. As others said, supportive wife, enthusiastic fan. Considering she barely knew which end of the race car pointed forwards at first I was impressed with her historical knowledge of Scottish drivers, etc.

I think the Izod Indy Car Series is far from dead. They are adding more venues and more overseas venues. NASCAR has issues and F1 does not impress much anymore (except for today's Monaco GP).

The Big Blue Nation views her as a mixed bag. The "Coal Keeps the Lights On" folks hate her. Others like the attention she brings to UK.

But if you have ever walked thru a former strip operation 10 years on and realize very little can live in crushed bed rock... or seen whats left of a mountain after they "spindle top" mined it... its very sad.

I don't know about the 500... but what she's doing (and looking like) works for me...

Ashley Judd Fights Palin

http://media.treehugger.com/assets/images/2011/10/Ashley-Judd.jpg

The actress slams Sarah Palin for promoting killing of wolves and bears from airplanes. Judd appears in a new internet video (click here to check it out) for Defenders of Wildlife, saying, "It's time to stop Sarah Palin and stop this senseless savagery." In Alaska, animal hunters can shoot wolves and bears from the air, a program Palin supports. The Alaskan governor says these killings help to sustain the state's moose and caribou population. "Alaskans depend on wildlife for food and cultural practices which can't be sustained when predators are allowed to decimate moose and caribou population," Palin fires back to Judd and her team of haters. As a poster to Cats paws Rupps rafters for a while, I would say BBN is a little more pro Ashely than other.

She has been a UK fan her whole life. I have no problem with seeing her at games and such.

No more than I have a problem with seeing Jack Nickelson at Lakers games, or Spike Lee at Knicks games.

Indy finally lost me last year after Dan Wheldon's death. Race series was completely irresponsible in how they constructed that race, the incentives they provided drivers and even the venue they picked.

Agree 100% about the LV race

Poorly planned and poorly executed

all the best stuff. Wish my name was Dario. Seems to work well for cars, bikes, and porn stars.

great race very exciting, Ashley is beautiful, that comment was poor judment by a commentator. Sato had room, didn't get boxed by franchetti, lost control and spun. it's a race, no? granted it will be to only IRL race i'll watch this year.

Who was her blond friend?

That was the late Dan Wheldon's wife. Nice to include her in the celebration.
