Fat Fifty Preview

I was supposed to have my current favorite riding partner with me today part life gets in the way for all of us so I had to ride solo. I'm planning a Fifty mile fat tire ride with some friends in July and needed to ride part of the route that I have not ridden since my youth. I figured if they work solo starting around 8:00 on a Saturday morning they would work with a small group starting around 7:00 on a Sunday morning.

Weather and overall conditions were perfect.

Dude, great ride. The Lemonaid sign is priceless, she gave it her best. There was a Lemonaid stand in town. Two of the nicest kids. Real lemons, glass, tons of ice. It was the best. They were open the following weekend, too. I gave the kids a twenty and asked if I could open a tab.

Rule # 1 for summer cycling, support the kids!
