Sram dual Drive with Shimano Brifters?

My Bike Friday Triple Tandem currently has Sram Dual Drive setup, but I prefer Brifters with drop bar setup.

Will Shamino Brifters work with Sram Dual Drive setup? With right shifting the 9 speeds and left shifting the 3 internal gears?

brifter for 9 on right, and bar end in friction on the left. Brifters are indexed in their own way and don't think that way is equal to the clicks in your 3 speed hub. interesting problem. not even sure friction will work on your hub.

maybe Retroshift is the closest:

maybe you could slide this up to tops of your drop bar and use a separate brake lever. yeah, try that.
