Squeaky Sidi uppers

I have the Genius 5.5 in Lorica. The right one is squeaking from the uppers and driving me crazy. They fit well. I've tried leather conditioner to no avail. Any suggestions?

My Sidi Dominators both squeaked when new.

I squirted mine with WD-40. No kidding. More than two yrs and ~10K later they're still good to go.

I sprayed on a little of the original Armor All on my Sidi's. No more squeak

I occasionally wipe mine down with vinyl cleaner/conditioner. Especially the inner areas where there is vinyl-on-vinyl contact. Sometimes mine will squeek for a few minutes on a ride then go silent. Might be a buckle tightness thing.

I think this is usually the culprit. Unless it's your cleats / pedal ...
