NBC UniversalSports - Giro Coverage - Picture Freeze

I signed up for Giro coverage on NBC UniversalSports, internet coverage.

A question for those more internet/I.T. savy than I. During the live coverage, especially at toward the final km of the stage, the picture freezes.

Is that an issue of my equipment/DSL speed or the equipment at NBC's end?? This does not happen watching Hulu or Netflix.

I'm trying to decide if we want to subscribe to cable for the Tour de France or subscribe to internet coverage. The freezing is annoying especially since it is a subscription service.

Any advice from the tech savy crowd would be appreciated.

I've been watching on Dierctv and it freezes from time to time. I think it's the feed and probably not your connection. At least this has been my experience so far (on stage 8, trying to catch up).
