I'm planning on meeting a friend and doing some riding in Greenfield MA this Saturday - I was thinking the d2r2 100k route might be fun. Do you know if the past directions are still valid after those horrible floods? My memory of the route is a little foggy, though I know there were some bridges which seem like they may have been effected.

Or does anyone have any other routes in the area that they'd recommend and have cue sheets we could follow?

100k route should be fine.

There are a couple issues with the 180k route but we've got a few months yet! (severe washout of downhill and some bridge issues)

. . . and while at least one bridge was washed out and many road repairs were evident we didn't encounter any impassable areas.

Does D2R2 have a contact person on their web site who might know something?

I just talked with Sandy W a few days ago. The 100k will be fine.

I'll be scouting the 180k this weekend.....

Thanks! Makes planning easier. If you see two guys on a tandem, say hi.

The 180k course is in fine shape. One temp bridge in place and one small section of road still closed near Berkshire East ski area.

Conditions are great!
