I bought this on ebay and didn't pay much attention to the design of the freehub. After inspecting it, it's a different design that the 10s Campy hubs I have. Is this a 10s freehub design? What am I missing? Thanks for the education.

Sorry, no 8s Campagnolo only. Changed in 1997 for 9s(which will accept 10s and 11s). You can swap the FH for a 9/10/11s one but they are scarce. 1997/8 Record/Chorus hubs, Athena with an axle, 2007/8 Centaur...freehubs will fit.

Very good! Thanks! Since it was listed as 10s, I'm returning it to the seller, but will give anyone who reads this dibs if they want it and I remain whole. $122 shipped and it's yours. Payal accepted.

This was listed as a Record hub and is 28 holes, 130 spacing, and it's new.

I have a set of 1998 Chorus hubs 32h (9/10/11sp) that I might consider parting with if anyone needs them (or if you want to swop FH bodies).

Steel axle? If so, yes, the FH body is 'plug and play' to pictured hub.

Yes, pretty sure it's a steel axle and it has the oil ports (I think 1998 Chorus had oil ports too).

I just measured the width and this hub is 135mm. Does that mean this might be a Record OR hub? If so, does that make it any more valuable? I'm still just trying to get my money back out of it. Thanks.

It IS a Record OR at 135mm...don't know if it's 'more valuable' tho...not much call for Campagnolo spaced, 8s MTB groups these days.

For that $, I'd just return it.

AND mention to the seller that a little research on items to be sold goes a long way.
