I had to spend all day in Mathews, VA for my son's Regatta. Typical routine is that we are at the regatta from 7:30 - 4:00 and my son spends about 30 minutes on the water of which I can see him for about 4 minutes.

I thought the riding would be nice so I took a bike and a camera.

Starting out on some quiet paved roads

Beautiful country! Bike VA puts on a ride there every spring (late May) that is superb. Really flat riding for those who haven't put in any winter miles.

Nice, great pictures!:cool:

I especially like the Varsity 8 photo. Reminds me of my countless hours rowing the Willamette from the engine room at OSU.
