Looks like their 11-speed hubs will work with older cassettes with spacers (is that backward compatible?) but you won't be able to put the new cassettes on old-style hubs.

What are the odds that DT (or others) will simply release new bodies for "upgrading" to 11 speed? I'm in no rush to switch, but if I ever did I would be reluctant to swap out all my hubs.

I was really hoping the 11 speed stuff would move to 135mm. Makes the most sense.
