The video is a little shorter then what originally aired but you still get the feeling.

William-
You would have been way faster than Hammond. They made great fun of the Stig.

I loved that episode. My 19 yo son and I both love watching Top Gear.
My favorite show out there.

The full version on Netflix is a bit funnier...and Hammond gets quite irate with all the bus and lorry drivers.:)

I bet most of us here could have made that run quite a bit faster than the little one.:D The Stig was great as usual.

My friend got on the ferry in Tiburon,
as I left via bicycle. The destination was
across the Bay to Pier 39... I got there just as
the ferry was pulling into it's slip... my friend was shocked

Tiburon-Sausalito-across GG Bridge-Presidio-Marina-Fisherman's Wharf-Pier 39

bicycle > ferry

Plus, I didn't have to pay $10 for the ferry or $5 for the bridge toll

Top gear is a favorite of mine, as well.

I really enjoy the episodes where they buy a vehicle in a foreign country and then have to get from point A to B.

One of these types of adventures is defiantly on my To Do list. Most likely without the vehicle killing obstacles in the middle, but certainly some type of beating will be in order near the end of the journey!

I think my favorite is the South American 4x4 challenge, but the Vietnam motorcycle challenge is a close second. If for no other reason we get to watch Clarkson take a tumble and walk away with a smile about a 2 wheel adventure!

I fully agree. Loved the South American 4x4 and the Vietnam challenge as well. I watched the Botswana Special the other day and would rank it up there with those two. Basically they travel to Botswana to buy a car for less than £1500, and use them to travel from the Zimbabwean border to the Namibian border, a trip of 1,000 miles. To top it off we get to meet the Stig's African cousin.:)
