Cliff Notes: Their GM was listening to the opposing teams Defensive and Offensive Coordinators radio communications during the game.

Can't imagine how hard Goodell is going to bring down the hammer on this one.

"Saints spokesman Greg Bensel calls the report "1000 percent false." "

We'll see how this pans out.

ESPN's running it on their "Outside the Lines" show....that's a high profile show on ESPN...we're not talking about TMZ here. Given the William's debacle, I wouldn't put your money on the Saints...IMO.

Good thing the statute's run out. Prosecuting a chiseler who got nothing but shame-inducing jollies in the service of a lousy team would beg for reallocation to other resources.

Sincerely it wouldn't surprise me what is going on, in a matter of fact surprise me that took that long to have somebody to do that, probably many are doing it anyways.

If you know what the opponent is going to do, how do you loose.

Makes the patriot's spygate seem quaint by comparison.

so if i'm understanding this correctly.....

pay money to people to injure opposing players. if they leave in a cart, even better. institutionalize it with video evidence and documentation. not criminal.

listen to coded jibberish on a headset. lands on state and federal attorneys' desks.

is that about right?

Doesn't really matter. Goodell can basically end this man's career if he wanted to (which he probably will).

Dudes done regardless. It's the criminal charges he skirts.
