pics in posts

Can someone explain to me how to put pictures in a post that is strategically above or below text? I seem to only be able to dump a bunch of pictures at the end of a post (using "attach files".. located in the "additional options" when I'm posting a new thread).

Help.

Have you tried hosting your pics on another site, then using the insert image to link to the pics?

I tried that, and atleast in the "preview" the pic didn't show up. I'll try a test here:

Make sure the link has the full file name in it:

In Flikr, I right click the image and select properties. Then, copy the full address that has the .jpg file extension it. Select Insert Image and paste the whole path name in it.

Ok.. it's all under conrol.

For the record. I'm using Picasa for photo storage, and there are options on the right hand side of the album where when you are looking to embed an image elsewhere, or link to a photo in your album, you have to choose the size... which I hadn't done before, and it defaults to "thumbnail".

By viewing the web page's HTML source code, I can see what you are doing wrong in post #4, but it is not as easy to simply explain what to do right.

What you are trying to insert in your post should look like this:
