OT: Kia Soul

Mrs William is on the road this week and the rental she picked up is a Kia Soul. Apparently she really likes it and now wants me to sell my Landcruiser and get one. I said the only way I would consider it is if we got the Rally version...;)

If you want to downsize, at least keep it classy.

I don't love the 2 door version, but the 4 door is growing on me.

Enterprise offered us a Soul a couple times, and it was great around Seattle. But luggage room was a bit limited, and bikes inside would be a chore. Try to get that roof rack shown on the rally car.

A step up in price (mid $20K), and maybe size (Impreza platform) is Suburu's new XV Crosstrek, coming this fall:

One of my planned purchases with my Meagamillions winnings was to get one of these and transplant the mechamicals from an STI WRX. I'll have to stick with the hamsters for now.
