Copake auction (http://www.copakeauction.com/index.html) is coming up this weekend. Check out the catalog online... there's some really cool stuff this year.

My personal favorite (check out the Phil disc? brakes):

DUI handle bars? Double down tubes...

that is quite the rig.

Anyone on the Velocipede Salon interested in this "early tricycle velocipede with hand driver levers which also steer"? :)

Sorry, but that sail bike, a 30 sq ft sail, a parking lot, and a case of PBR could make for some pretty sweet entertainment.

On second thought, wouldn't a schooner or maybe ketch rig would be better for a sail bike, ensuring that the wind load were more centered...

Only if you take the brake off first.

The two shaft-drive "safety" bikes from the previous turn of the century are cool.
Thanks for posting this.

. . . are probably going to stop by Saturday morning during the viewing period. I'll try to take a few shots of the more interesting bikes.

They do allow you to take pictures, don't they? Never been to it before . . .
