An excellent review and facility tour - full of detail and pictures. All factory tours/reviews should be done this way. Love those hardwood floors.

Great article. I love my Z1. My primary ride. Not the lightest or most sexy but I love the ride and the fact it's made in the USA :).

Parlee are very nice bikes but way too light uselessly light, what for my point make them a great piece of engineering but not a very safe and reliable bike.
I will not have trust my Z1 of more than 30 000 km or so.
I have preferred my Meivici and much more my full ti legend or my current Moots RSL - go everywhere do everything ride fast and long bikes.

I didn't think the Parlee Z1 was known as a "light" frame. To me the construction is very sound. Are you saying you wouldn't trust any carbon frame over 30k km (16.5k miles) or just your Parlee Z1?
