Sorry about posting another thread. This is really it for clothes, I think. Also, I'm selling these, though I love Rapha bibs, because I have another pair already and also recently bought a pair of Assos 3/4 bibs from a forumite. In other words, keeping these would be hoarding. And as you all know, I appall such behavior.

Good price Ari. May I ask how tall you are and your size of pants?
Asking because when I got my Rapha touring shorts in 34 there was no way I could get in them. And I wear 33 jeans. I had to exchange for the 36.

I'm just shy of 6', Phillippe, and weigh about 175. Levis with a 34" waist are a bit tighter on me than they were a few years back. But, I'll have you know, jeans with a 36" waist are still too loose!

I think those Touring Shorts run notoriously small, by the way. I don't think the same is true of the Rapha bibs, including these.

Give it time, you'll grow into them! :) and when you do it's time to throw out the 34's. Or you could hoard them hoping to wear them again ( sorry I forgot that you are not a hoarder)

As an owner of the bib knickers from Rapha, can attest they're every bit as awesome as their bib shorts.

Ah damn where was I? I did not realize these were 3/4 knicker bibs. Must stop Chamomile. Sorry Ari but I'll pass then. I need std bibs.

A gentleman doesn't hoard; he collects.

And speaking of not hoarding, I would VERY happily trade these knickers for a Ti Chorus seatpost in good condition or a pair of new Assos bibs (not 3/4 knickers, please).

No worries. I'm going to edit the word "shorts" out of the ad and replace it with "knickers". Sorry for the confusion.

It's 1 pm in California. If someone buys these in the next 15 minutes, before I leave the house, I'll cut you a deal. I'd love to save myself a second trip to the post office. Thanks.

They won't fit, I'm afraid. You're too skinny!

Ari,
Does it fit like an Assos?

Emil, the Raphas are a bit shorter in the leg (the Assos 3/4 knickers I have, which are an XL rather than a L like these, run well down to the mid-point of my calf) and a bit bigger (for comparison, the Assos 3/4 knickers I have -- again, an XL rather than a L -- are only a tiny bit roomier than these). I hope that helps.

There and back already, I'm afraid. Sorry about that. I can, though, head over there again. It's only a fifteen minute ride. I was just being a wimp earlier, because it's raining a bit.
