I am on the road traveling. I need to get size info for FD size on these two:

IF Crown Jewel
Serotta CDA

Also if going from compact to full on the crank how much of a chain increase is it.

Thanks

not necessarily true. Both of my Serotta's use 27.2 seatposts and 35mm FD clamps, Colorado concept tubing is tapered diameter...

For chain length, if you're going from a 50T to a 53T big ring, I'd say add 2 full links, of 2" of chain. Each tooth is 1/2", you're adding 3, so you'd need 1.5" more chain to keep the same RD position in the big-big combo. I'd go with 2" to be safe, but you may get away with 1", depending on how much slack you have in there now.

Hope that helps.

Watetford steel has a 27.2 seatpost and a 28.6 clamp.

If you have a 31.8 bar clamp you could do this:

Take off the front clamp plate from the stem and put it on the downtube. If it fits perfectly, it's a 31.8. If the clamp is bigger than the tube, it's most likely 28.6. If the clamp is smaller than the tube, it's probably a 35.

If your stem clamp is 25.4, I got nothing.
