are the wheels tubular?Sorry, no, I wish. (Well, actually I just wish the hubs were Campy...) Updated the original post to reflect they're clinchers.

What color are the CXP 30 rims? and are the DA 7700 hubs the ones that are 10speed only? I might be interested in the wheels, and would like to see pictures whenever you get the chance.

Rims are champagne colored. See (old) pics here for "look and feel" purposes, though they're also representative of condition (since they've sat in the basement since I sold this bike): http://www.christianedstrom.com/merckx/Merckx_Page.html

These hubs will accommodate 8, 9, 10 speed Shimano cassettes (Dura-Ace 7700 was originally a 9-speed group).

The subsequent Dura-Ace 7800 hubs with aluminum freehubs have taller splines (to reduce wear on the cassette body) and will only accept 10 speed cassettes. They are the only D-A hubs that have this (stupid) limitation. Frankly, I think these are the best hubs Shimano (or anyone) has built to date. If I rode Shimano, I would actually unlace them and build them into a sweet carbon 24/28 wheelset. But I'm a Campagnolo guy.

Speaking of - if you want to swap these for Campy wheels - I'm all ears.

I love these wheels! They're in 28/24h too which are even rarer for cxp30s these days. I wish I had a frame to match these wheels! Good luck with the sale!

I actually have the 7700 28h hubs laced to nimble flys and they're great

PM sent on the wheels. Those look sweet, and I have a few bikes that would do well to have those.

Ok - apparently we have more bicycle hobos than weight weenies here. Because the sandals sold before the Thomson post!

Which, btw, is the only item which remains. Am I off on the pricing?

Once this stuff ships, I will open the next Rubbermaid bin and see what's in there... I know there are some D-A 7700 cranks, loads of brake calipers, some red Elite Ciussi cages, some red Merckx bar-tape, one of those Bianchi Milanos. Alas, no Rapha. Just as well, I hear it's disdained at the bicycle hobo conventions!
