Hi all,

Any idea as to what I can do with my old helmets and cycling clothes that either no longer fit or are simply too worn out for me? Everything I have still functions (no rips or tears or anything like that), and still have some life in them. I just think it would be a waste to throw these things away if someone can use them.

Thanks for the help.

Most progressive cities have a community cycle centre where you can take your old cycling related clothes and parts and they recycle them. I visit the one in my city to drop off parts and pick up pieces regularly. Otherwise, most Sally Ann's will take the clothes and a metal recycler will take the metal. There is also the “pass it on” post in the classifieds on this forum for anything that you think another cyclist on the board could use.
