I am tempted to try one of their road saddles though. Have you guys ridden any?

Lotsa folks here have Brooks, myself included. They're not for everyone. You need to select the correct one for your riding 'style': bars at or above saddle (B-17), bars slightly below saddle (Pro), bars a fair amount below saddle (Swift) and huge bar drop (Swallow). All rules of thumb but good starting places.

Wallingford Bikes has a Brooks program where they'll take the saddle back if it doesn't suit you, within six months

Brooks aren't inexpensive and are heavy but they seem to last for generations.

Thats the one with the cutout..

The only problem with brooks except for the weight is that they only come in Black or Brown.. I cannot understand why they don't offer their race models in white. Sella sells tons o white leather saddles.

Thanks a lot for the good info. Definitely pricey based off the website. If I find a used swift or swallow (seem rare) or even pro I might buy it.
