He failed in spectacular fashion at MSR. He's been quoted as saying that there was "something very wrong" last weekend.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but I wonder. MSR is effectively owned by RCS, a large Italian media group. Sky is a major media player in Italy. The two companies are in direct competition. Cav winning MSR in a Sky shirt is a marketing bomb under RCS.

Sounds like you are.. Although, stranger things have happened in Italy during a bike race.

Isn't Peta preggo - makes for a bad Poggio. Bad pun, but I couldn't resist.

Even a world champion is allowed to have a bad day. Remember, his win over Haussler was a surprise. This race isn't Cav's forte. Too long and lumpy.
Also, he looks like he's thickened. It's no wonder Griepel took so many stages from him in Arabia.
