Beautiful. And I thought Australia was either burning-up or drowning. Truly gorgeous country. They must have imported some italians to come down and design the part of that road that's 10k at 12% and plus. The roads are cheaper to build that way, less blacktop. Going back and forth across the hillside costs too much. Nice ride, excellent shots. Thanks. Makes me want to go down and ride. Never will though, too far sadly. Too many hours in those flying sardine cans. Cheers

Funny you should say that as the region was heavily populated by Italian immigrants after WW2. In fact nearly every family up there has an i or o on the end of their names.
The road was put up by cattlemen in the late 1800s though. And just remained in use ever since. It was sealed 3 years ago.
