Hi Gang.
Michelle’s new Eriksen ti road frame is due to arrive tomorrow. She decided to promote the new ride to 1st string and to move her Record 11 and light weight wheels over from her Parlee. (She is looking for around 15.5 lbs on the new bike) Since it has been stormy during the last few days I decided to get a head start and strip the Record 11 components off her Parlee and get the bits all cleaned up and lubed for the new build.

So I was examing the external bearing on the Ultra Torque crank. Looks pretty good. But I was wondering if I should try to squeeze some grease into the bearing/race without removing the bearing? (I read somewhere that bearing should not be replaced once they are removed)
Or is this a case of "if it ain't broke don't fix it".
Thanks.
Dan

grease is good. you wont get too much in, but apply as much grease as you can to the bearing area, including inside the cups.
