Black only. I asked 'em if they'd make all silver even if for an upcharge. If so, done.

Specialities TA will work, if you want ramped and pinned rings. If you can do without that, so will Salsa.

I think these Suginos are silver:

Another option is Vuelta USA:

Vuelta makes chainrings in both silver and black; ramped and pinned or not; under a variety of names including: Willow, Engagement, Salsa, and Silver (Riv brand), to name a few. Further, Vuelta rings are reasonably price, about 1/3 to 1/2 of TA rings and Made in the USA!

What's not to like?!! Good Luck!

Is Shimano not available? Before SL ICE color didn't they make silver too for regular Ultegra?

The idea I'm working on is get an Ultegra SL spider and strip it of the grey anodization/coating, then polishing it and putting on silver chainrings.

I don't recall exactly so could be wrong but I think that the Shimano compact before the ICE color was the 6600 and it had unfinished chainrings. They were pretty ugly IMHO.

Would something like this work for you? Already done in silver. Maybe a little more expensive.

You're looking for the Shimano R600 or R700 compact cranksets. They are non-series, compact cranksets that are interchangeable with DA 7800, Ultegra 6600, and 105 5600. They have the same finish as Ultegra 6600 (polished and clear anodized). My wife has an R700 crankset on an otherwise Ultegra 6600 bike. Looks great, works great. Still readily available with a quick interweb search.

It does and that may be the route I end up going with since it's already a 6700 drivetrain.

I have a gorgeous new 7800 crank on there now and the looks can't be beat. I don't want something black/dark, which seems to be the prevailing trend.

Would have even gone with Velo Orange compact but they have square taper interface:
