Spent tonight looking at all kinds of stuff, and want to finish my gf's bike right before I start picking parts for mine out...

She's got a custom Rock Lobster touring bike. I want to finish off the bike with some minimalist racks (she might carry a couple pounds, but don't think I'll make her take on any panniers) - who makes them? I want a matching front and rear set. I did a search online and here, and found just a couple people. Any recommendations? Someting like the Salsa Minimalist, but more refined! :)

Thanks!

The Tubus Fly is a nice minimalist rear rack. Not sure what the complementary front model would be.

Found Rich Adams here (http://www.bicycleframes.com/racks/) though I know nothing of his work.

And there's Eric Estlund at Winter Bikes (www.winterbicycles.com/gallery/racks) who's work I have seen and who will build you a fine rack indeed.

I'm sure the folks at Bilenky make custom racks.

tubus is the best way to go for non custom light duty racks. circle A makes nice custom racks. This is the one on my new bike.

Take a look at the Nitto racks that Rivendell sells too.
