I read the MSDS on that carbo move stuff. Make sure no flames or sparks are in the area when spraying that stuff around......

I am curious as to what causes the sticking of carbon parts such that it is unstuck by organic solvents.

Sweat, sports drink, grimy water, grit.

This is the reason you should never install a post dry. There should always be grease, carbon past, anti-seize or something to prevent foreign material from migrating in.
