know that i did indeed jump in and got the pictured unit. shipped from amazon in amazing speed. set-up was a breeze, though a little cumbersome using the scroll wheel, but manageable.
we have literally been using it daily. its perfect for what we wanted it for, some background music in the kitchen. lots of choices for music selection, all free. never loses signal. sound quality is acceptable, but not superb, and seems to depend a lot on the specific channel feed. iPhone control works great from anywhere in the house.
anyway, very glad i got it, and i think well worth the little over $100 i spent for it, i would recommend!
