So I was looking through a kind of craigs list for Kodiak Alaska where I'm moving this summer and found this:

basically it's a CAAD4 with a 1" headtube and old Dura Ace for $1600... yes $1600 not $600... just nuts...

I think toosahn has a shipping container full of high-end bikes. Maybe you guys could go into business together?

Well, at least they have nice white garage doors there, too.

Plus you have to admire their fine taste in wheels.

The opportunity for a new business perhaps?

Talk about weather shock! Time to stock up on winter clothing it seems and I'm just about to sell of a pile of items I'll never use in San Diego, size medium.

so you're enjoying the weather huh? :) I'll be putting that rain jacket I got from you to good use I'm sure...

I'm not a size medium though... ;)

yes, the weather will take some getting used to but I think when I come down it will be even harder if I come back so someplace like SD or especially if I have to go someplace like DC or Virginia... at least in Alaska I can put on clothes and eventually stay warm, you can only legally take so many clothes off! :D three years is plenty of time to get acclimated...
