Am building up my Poprad as a combo off-road/touring bike. 28mm tires and getting rid of the center-pull brakes to go with the more powerful mini-v brakes. Am looking at the Tektro 926A (80mm arms) and RX5 (85mm arms). They are certainly inexpensive compared to what I've paid for brakes in the past. Of course, I could step up to their TRP X9 (90mm arms) for about 10x the price and a barrel adjuster at the brake. I'm assuming that either the 80mm or 85mm arms would provide adequate leverage. Most anything would be better than the lame center-pulls. Now the question......... will both length arms work well with my XT levers? Thanks.
