Note: It's a "righty" and it has a disc brake!

Would anyone be able to post pics/info of slick looking 650b MTB+Road rigs that catch your eyes?
This is why I love the NAHBS. Oooo...I'm quite galled that my invite didn't make it through the pipe until late Thursday evening  .
I really need to trade my slow-moving industry friend's in for more efficient models :D

I can't believe this is happening twenty minutes from my house and I'm not there. Alas, with a sick kid at home, it's a ride or the show. I can't do both. And it's 70 and calm out there, so I'm off to ride.

No, but we saw the white Sachs and talked to him for about 10 minutes. He's very gracious and accommodating in person.

Baum knows what year it is. Stellar stuff from them.

That lazer-like stem on the Cherubim is pretty trick. I don't like the rear of that bike though.

I went today. Lots to google over. The morning best time to be there. I have the same Bruce gordon frame58cm in photos hanging on my wall with new paint. I could intertain high offers for it. david kirk booth had two nice bicycles to long for. Lots of Cadd made components. even a Cadd machined out wood frame. Wood is back. Still a bit over whemmed by what was on display And too much to take photos

I'm not there to see it in all its glory but of all the bikes I've seen so far, I think the Baum track bike is the balls. Makes me long for a track bike with no place to ride it on a regular basis.

Great pics. English really does do show bikes right. Pushes it all the way. I think Dinucci's workmanship is some of the best ever, period. Would love to see some Baum bikes in person too. And Mitch at MAP is really coming into his own IMO.

I was able to go to the show in san jose; a lot of fun! the show did get bigger with some great stuff, but i didn't see the vanilla booth or some other big names I was expecting.

I had a nice chat with dave kirk and paul sadoff. but if you want crazy light, get to the crumpton booth...a full road bike: 9 pounds (w/o pedals).

sorry, apparently only those with a gmail account (maybe other google accounts will work also - youtube, picasa, etc). so if you don't have an gmail account, you will have to create one, then the link will work. and yes, then google will know you spend all your time online looking a bike stuff!

Presented in chronological order, so they may not be in perfect logical order. I've attempted to caption photos where the builder's name is not obvious.

Had a great conversation with Karen Kirk about riding in the Alps, as well as their lovely frames.

Heard a nice explanation by Dave Wages about why he prefers to build with KVA stainless over 953, and about the polishing process. Sounds laborious!

Heard a passionate explanation by Eric Estlund about his approach to matching bike to rider.

And so many more pleasant and informative conversations!
