IMO that looks more like a Corvette than anything else. (and therefore, I won't bother to buy one)

Just beautiful. If I owned one (as if!) my drivers license would last about 24 hours.

Riiight.... That's the reason!

While the "F12berlinetta" F12 Berlinetta may have a name seemingly designed to drive English teachers (and website editors) insane, the 740-horsepower V12 is just plain demenziale. Making 509 lb-ft of torque, it's enough to propel the 3,362-pound car from 0-62 mph in just 3.1 seconds and 0-104 mph in 8.5 seconds, according to Ferrari. Of course, the true measure of any Prancing Horse is the lap around Fiorano, which the Maranello automaker says can be completed in just 1:23. (The previous record-holder was the 599 GTO at 1:24, while the Enzo clocked in at a leisurely 1:25.) Ferrari says the new F12 Berlinetta has a lower and more rearward center of gravity thanks to a redesigned suspension and gearbox, with 54 percent of the weight resting over the rear tires. A 0.299 Cd and 76 percent more downforce allows a top speed of over 211 mph.

Whew. I thought it was going to be something horrible like those photos of a Cockroach giving birth that were posted on Buzzfeed today. No that is something words can't describe (just guttural noises).

If I had one of those it would be a tough choice what to drive... I have a Corvette -- unsure what the guy at post 2 was meaning by his comment. Corvette is one heck of a car, specially when red

It was a joke.

Enjoy the 'Vette. They are great cars, and a much better value than anything from Ferrari.

Vette is a great value, so are Porsche or the high performance Japanese sport cars. However I doubt that the people who buy Ferrari are very concerned about value...

I fixed your quote just to keep this thread bike related.

"Value" and either Corvette or Ferrari??

'Value' applies to Toyotas and Hondas and shimano.

I would 'value' a Ferrari far more than a Corvette, more than a Maserati too, not as much as a Bugatti...or a boat tail Alfa

To measure "value" in the sense I used it you have to divide by cost. So in the Corvette's case, Performance / $ is much higher than the same figure for a Ferrari. Same analysis goes for DA vs Ultegra vs 105.

You sure that car isn't a Hyundai with a badge kit ?

Last time I looked this is what a Ferrari looked like.
