I'm very happy with the Giro Prolight I got last fall, they seem to be selling for pretty cheap...think Bonktown had them for $80 today?

Yes i saw those ones but the darn giro's are too narrow in the sides. Have tried them and I'm even selling one fir that reason, too tight for my head in the sides.

Nobody using kask??

I have a Kask K50, but haven't had much of a chance to use it yet. Initial impressions are very positive (can't really compare to Bell/Giro, since I don't have either). Realcyclist.com has a great price on some colors of the K50, BTW.

That's where im looking at the kask but if wont fit why to get it?

Giro's are too narrow to me, bells are ok but depends on the model.

People have round heads or oval heads,
Bell heads or Giro heads.

I have a Bell Head, my old helmet is a Sweep R size medium

My new helmet is a Kask K50 48-58cm adjustable.

The KASK helmet is AMAZING. I really love it.
It fits great, looks great, and I really like the adjustment system for the head cradle. From reviews this model is lighter and just as primo as their top of the line helmets that cost 3X more. IT is MADE IN ITALY!

Awesomeness in helmet form, thy name is Kask K50.

A few months ago I bought a Kask K10 to replace the Bell Volt I wore for 2 years prior. Construction of the Kask helmets is superior to Bell, without doubt. Bell fit pretty well (size medium for my 59cm head) but was tight with any under-helmet hat. The K10 is a one-size-fits-all model (53-61), with plenty of room for hat. I like the gel padding in the Kask, too. Much more comfortable than the Bell. My oblong shaped head fit the Bell, but also the Kask well. No tight spots at all. And love the retention system in the Kask. Best ever! Realcyclist is still closing these out at $118.
