Tide with Febreze Sport

For some reason, I am having a harder time tracking down Win Sport Performance Detergent.....to really get the funk out of performance sport fabrics.

I noticed the Tide w/Febreze Sport while at the local grocery chain and have been using with "great success". Distro through major chains seems to be pretty good.

I have good luck with adding Oxi-clean to get the stink out.

Scented stuff give me hives/asthma attacks so I have to avoid the Tide stuff.

Oxyclean with the unscented stuff seems to be OK.

I'll have to try the Oxiclean...The Tide scent is not overwheming to me, and it does smell clean vs covered up...which is gross to me.

I've been using the Penguin Sport Wash for the last few years and really like it. Works really well and doesn't have a crazy flower smell to it. ;)

On really crappy days as soon as I get home from a ride I spray my spots with Oxi-Clean and then when I have a full load use the Penguin Sport Wash.

Any time a laundry question comes up, I feel compelled to recommend...

White Vinegar

Throw a few healthy splashes into the wash cycle to kill odor causing bacteria. For really tough smells, do a second rinse with more vinegar.

I promise your clothes won't smell like an Easter egg.

Oxi-Clean is Ok, Atsko (http://www.atsko.com/index.php?option=com_tienda&view=products&filter_category=43&Itemid=119) is my favorite. Low suds, no perfumes, rids the stink, easy on fabrics including wool, rinses completely and is relatively cheap. I've been using it for several years now and am completely happy. Its especially good on synthetics. Their shampoo is excellent too. So easy to use, rinses so completely, and takes most of the chlorine out. I swim three days a week and the chlorine smell has always been a challenge.

Having said that, I often use Oxi on really soiled clothes or with tough stains.
