Daresay, will we see artisinal garden frames at NAHBS (in ti, alu. or carbon, of course--can't have steel/rust worries)?

And the comments are even better:
"Oh my! I am in LOVE with this post! I am hoping to get a new bike next month – I’m totally going to decorate it with a planter! How creative. :)"

Those are cool. Hope you can remove them (QR?) to prevent lock-up related plant theft.

I'm sure that some couriers hide their "herb" garden IN their seat tube.

That is really cool. Good thing it has a quick release, so your succulents don't get over watered on a rainy day.
Probably going to buy one.
And on especially long rides, I like to fertilize 'em myself!

I think these might look better on a bamboo frame.

I only grow Italian herbs on my frame.

probably would reduce the number of wheelsuckers... make sure you get leafier plants, or perhaps mint for added freshness

I've heard that thin-leafed plants are substantially lighter than succulents...

As soon as I saw this I immediately was reminded of "Window Farms" (http://www.windowfarms.org/)
I do think one of those would make for a pretty cool headbadge though. Maybe I'll make one for my ride and post photos.
