Some folks like these, others don't. I have no personal experience with the product as I ride a Poprad with fenders in the dicey weather.

wow, i cant think of manufacturers that make ti frames in europe. there must be somebody. Brompton does some ti on there best folders, van nicholas in the netherlands (i dont know anything about them), i have seen a few inigma bikes in the past, they looked super clean and they are in the UK.

Without a mount at the chain stay bridge and dedicated fender eyelets, isn't this going to be a hack job anyway?

There is a chainstay bridge..and if you put the little SKS overlap thing over it, it's perfect. If I ship it away I'd have it drilled for a proper mount anyway

- Van Nicholas is the old Airborne, outsourced Chi Ti.
- Inigma is now being fab'd in the UK. When they were Omega, the frames were made in Russia (if I recall the same builder that did the DeRossa Ti frames). -
- Passoni is Italian and does some nice ti.

I'm sure there is someone I'm forgetting.

Edit:

- Rewel is also Italian

Maybe contact Darren Crisp in Italy http://www.crisptitanium.com/crisp_inglese.htm If not him, maybe he could recommend someone for you.

Ship it to Dave Levy at Ti Cycles Fabrication in Portland. Not much different than sending it somewhere in the EU - its a global village these days.

I tried the shipping thing when I had worked out a trade. Neither I nor the LBS can get the box under 83 with the appropriate padding. If I were in the states it wouldn't be a problem, you kick in a couple bucks and go OS but at APO's you cannot ship OS.
