I know I'm not the only one that has been refreshing the browser every minute. You can't do this to us :crap: :crap: :crap:
If you can't post it yet, just tell us, don't just keep us in the dark like this.

We have sworn off all work until the pictures are released. To heck with GNP, CPI, Alan Greenspan and the War Against Extremeism. We want pictures! Detailed ones too. None of those poloroid shots across a darkened room or across a parking lot with employees standing in front of it! Know what I mean?

And you live in OR. Trader. :) Laurelwood (http://www.laurelwoodbrewpub.com/index.htm) is my current favorite and I am having a hard time remembering the last time I've had tastier brew!

You know, I don't want to start a whole diatribe about beer now, but I will say this (since everyone else seems to be wasting their afternoon here too): Oregon has alot of mediocre beer. There are a couple gems, but I find myself getting most excited about the classic California beers- Anchor Liberty, Anderson Valley, Russian River and even Sierra because they know what they're doing. It seems that everyone and their home-brewing uncle started a brewery in the last 10 years in Oregon, and its evidenced by the lack of lagers- lagering equipment being too expensive for most of these start-ups. Name one Oregon lager. See? This state needs a serious microbrew shakedown. I think that the "buy local" sentiment has gone too far- its gotten to the point that everyone accepts local beer, even if its mediocre. We have 2 local breweries and they are both inconsistent and boring- but still in business. Its time to stop buying bad beer!
That said, yeah I like Laurelwood too. I like Bridgeport ipa in the bottle (its bottle conditioned and drier than on tap) and Walking Man in WA. But seriously, just because Portland has the most breweries of any city doesn't mean they have the best. I give that award to San Francisco.

bcm,
I have things I'd like to say but perhaps we'll have to chat about it after a ride over a beer someday in the near future. Roots is puting out some pretty impressive stuff too if you haven't had a chance to check that out.
Also, I know what I like but it seems that there are plenty of other world class beer tasting judges that seem to like beers made in Oregon.

Sounds good to me Funky. And for the record, I didn't say there weren't any world class Oregon beers -there are- but you have to wade through alot of boring stuff to find them because of the "its all good" attitude (sorry dirtD). My point being, I'd rather go to a pub with 3 outstanding beers on tap than one with 85 stale beers on tap, ask the bartender which ones are fresh, and be labeled an elitist beer snob. Okay back to bikes. Cheers.
