I don't know if I'm the only one (hence this post) but I'm getting logged out of the forums every 20 minutes or so. I did check the "remember me" checkbox. I'm on Firefox 7.0.1 on Mac OSX.

It's probably just a setting in the forums software or something.

Cheers and thanks again for everything!

Philippe.

Looks like the forum software isn't sending cookies?

Strange!

Maybe it's related but all the links are still pointing to forums.thepaceline.net like these ones The Paceline Forum > General Discussion

Maybe it's a redirect going crazy? And I see there a session id in the query string...

OK I thing I got it (after that I leave you alone promised!)

If I look at those links Supporting the Forum $$ ( 1 2 3 )

Supporting the Forum $$ has a session id in the query string. I don't get kicked out.

1 2 3 no session id in the query string. I get kicked out.

I'm on IE 9 point-whatever's the latest, 64 bit.

If I come here through my http://forums.thepaceline.net/ bookmark, then it keeps me logged on. If I use http://www.thepaceline.net/, I get logged out during the session or before each post.

The same with me. I guess the domain forward is acting wacky for me. No big deal.

He guys, I'm not sure what is going on...but I can't reproduce this yet. I'm still in the process of trying to separate from forums.thepaceline.net, but this is going to take a little work. So for anyone having login issues, try going to old address of forums.thepaceline.net and see if this will resolve the issue until I have a complete separation.

It works for me if I use the http://forums.thepaceline.net/ address. Thanks Zmud!

NP, Jake! How ya been? Haven't seen you around for awhile.

Often, forum software will boot users if they have been inactive after X amount of time to prevent people just remaining logged in forever. There are valid reasons to do this, it is good practice.

That said, I had a similar problem when I went from the serotta.com forum and opened the paceline.net forum. I would log in, it would welcome me, I appeared on the user list, but couldn't post.
When I restarted today and went to the serotta forum, no problem staying logged in. I'll try the same test today to see if I can replicate. I'll probably just have to restart my browser session to clear it up.

Alrighty then, IE9. Serotta forum seems fine, I do replicate the issue if I have both forums open, but if I close IE, open it, access the paceline forum I can log in, it welcomes me, but this time, when I attempted to reply to this thread, I received the message that I was not logged in. I entered my details and it opened a Reply to Thread window...
We'll see if it posts this message or not.

It did. Yay! And it let me edit it without re entering my user details.

I have been good. Have another baby around the house so not as much extra free time to be roaming the internet :)
Hope you are doing well!

Be better if I can snag the Primato that just came up locally. It would replace the stolen one.

Fingers crossed.

Congrats on the newnew. Just got a new grand daughter myself.
